The next monthly meeting will be held on Monday, October 2, 2006, at 7 p.m. in the FOP Hall,1336 Spring Garden Street.� Food and refreshments will be served.
2006 Columbus Day Celebration
The following is the schedule of events leading up to Columbus Day Celebration on Sunday, October 9:
Friday, October 6 - Columbus Day Banquet
Pen Ryn Mansion-Belle Voir Manor,
1601 State Road, Bensalem, PA
Cocktails at 7PM. Diner/Dance 8PM
$75 per person. Half price to members

Sunday, October 8 - Memorial Mass and Breakfast
The Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.� Breakfast will be immediately following the Mass at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel.� The cost is $20 per person.

Sunday, October 8 - Annual Columbus Day Parade
The Annual Columbus Day Parade will begin at Broad and Federal Streets at 12:15 p.m., and will proceed south on Broad Street to Oregon Avenue. WPVI Channel 6 will televise the parade from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 8 - The Grand Festival
The Grand Festival will be held from noon to 6:00 p.m. at Marconi Plaza, Broad and Oregon.� There will be entertainment and many Italian delicacies from various businesses. For further information on all activities, please contact Lorraine M. Fitzgerald at 215-592-1713.
If anyone is interested in representing the Custodes Pacis Lodge by marching in the parade, please contact Joe Spera. Buses will be available to take you from Stella Maris Church to the Mass at the Cathedral, from the Cathedral to the Breakfast at the Society Hill Sheraton, from the Sheraton to the start of the parade. For those who won�t be able to attend the mass and the breakfast, buses will take you from Stella Maris Church to the start of the parade at 11:30am.

November - Lottery Fundraiser
Lottery tickets will be available at the next meeting and are still only $5.00.� If the Pennsylvania nighttime lottery matches your ticket number, you will win $50 on weekdays, and $100 on the weekends.� Earnings from this fundraiser go exclusively to the Scholarship Program.� If you would like to reserve a specific number, or would like to become a seller, please contact Pete LaviniTickets will be available at the next meeting..
