Next Meeting - The next monthly meeting will be held on Monday, December 3, 2007 at 7 p.m. in the FOP Hall, 1336 Spring Garden Street. Food and refreshments will be served.

Membership Dues Increase - As mentioned in our last three newsletters, a dues increase of $2 per month was proposed. A motion was made and passed at the September meeting to raise the dues. Discussion on the topic took place at the October Meeting. At the November Meeting, a vote was taken and this motion passed unanimously. Effective January 2008, dues for Custodes Pacis Lodge will increase $2 per month. Dues notices for cash payers will be mailed shortly. Payroll deduction members will see the change effective with the deduction in January 2008. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call Maurizio DeLisi.

Sunday December 9, 2007 – Adult Christmas Party in conjunction with District 3 – 5:30 PM- Colleen’s Restaurant. Tickets are $60 per person, $30 for members.

Children’s Christmas Party - Sunday, December 16th, 2007. 11am to 2pm in the FOP Hall. As always, children nine years and under will receive gifts from Santa. Santa will distribute gifts provided by members to children ten years and older. Please use the form below to submit your children’s (or grandchildren’s) information. We need to receive it no later than December 2, 2007. Please mail it, call it in, or send it via our web site. Chairperson Joe Spera is looking for members to volunteer and work for the party. If you want to be a part of this committee, contact Joe. Even if you do not want to be on the committee, we can always use an extra pair of hands – a cook, a truck and driver, etc. This is one of our most successful events – let’s keep it that way. Cakes and cookies are appreciated on the day of the party.

Grand Lodge Calendars – The Grand Lodge is selling fundraiser Lottery Calendars for $35. You will get a 3 digit number and if that number matches the nighttime PA Lottery, you will win the prize indicated for that date. Minimum prize is $35. Maximum is $1000. On November 17, 2007 we held our Bowling Beef and Beer benefit at Thunderbird Lanes. Over 200 people attended this event. I would like to thank everyone who attended and the following individuals and their families for their help in making this event a success: Gary and Theresa Cardamone, Terri-Ann Cardamone, Ray and Sue Saggese, Mia Saggese, Jessica Saggese, Ron Peluzzo, Marco and Nancy Giannetta, Joseph Spera and Joseph V. Spera, Rita Rastelli. The next Bowling event will be in the spring, I hope to see you there!
