Mark your calendars for Oct 22^nd, 2011 7pm at the FOP.  We have selected John McNesby as our person of the year and Deputy Chief  (Philadelphia Fire Dept) Joseph Picozzi as our member of year. Philly Heat will be performing for our entertainment. There are only 250 tickets for this long awaited event. Ticket prices will are $50.00 per person for full buffet and open bar.

President’s Message

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our past president, Ray Saggese for his hard work over the past two years. You’re a good friend and brother to our lodge.

This coming year we have many things on our calendar already. We have secured the FOP hall for our Banquet. Mark your calendars for Oct 22^nd. We are currently working on the entertainment. There are only 250 tickets for this long awaited event. More to follow as we get closer.

SCHOLARSHIP NEWS

Please join us in congratulating the following Custodes Pacis College Scholarship Recipients:

•           Anthony D’Ambrosio, son of Brother Mark D’Ambrosio

•           Daniel Chilutti, son of Brother Joe Chilutti

We will honor these outstanding students at a dinner meeting on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 7pm at Lamberti’s Cucina located at 1045 Street Road & Bustleton Pike in Feasterville, PA. Our regularly scheduled monthly meeting for Monday, November 2, 2009 at 7:00pm is being canceled due to the World Series. We wish to be proactive rather than reactive to the possibility of the Phillies going to Game 5. Many police officers were informed that they may have to work even if they are scheduled to have off. Vice President Ronnie Peluzzo will be calling Randi’s Restaurant tomorrow, Wednesday, October 28 to discuss the possibility of rescheduling our dinner meeting. Please stay tuned for the outcome of his discussion! We will send out e-mail notifications and post the information on our website.

Tickets are still available for the November Lottery program. Earnings from this fundraiser go exclusively to the Scholarship Program. Please support this worthy cause! If you would like to purchase a ticket, you may contact any lodge officer. Tickets are still only $5.00 for an opportunity to win for the month of November. If the Pennsylvania nighttime lottery matches your ticket number, you will win $50 on weekdays, and $100 on the weekends.
